About Me
I am passionate about working to improve lived experiences for historically marginalized communities who have persevered through legacies of systemic oppression and stacked disadvantages. I became a social work because I wanted greater access to proactively work to reduce health and wellbeing disparities among BIPoC and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, nontraditional families, people with disabilities and complex medical system needs, and survivors of capitalism.
F.A.Q
What States do you practice in?
I hold an LICSW in the states of Vermont and Rhode Island.
What populations do you serve?
My practice is focused on supporting queer and trans/gender expansive communities. Affirming care recognizes the significant impact of sexual/gender minority stress and the intersectionality of systemic oppression on a person’s health and wellbeing.
Do you accept insurances?
For payment, I accept VT Medicaid, MVP, Optum polices (UNH/UBH, Harvard Pilgrim), BCBS, Medicare, Tricare, and private-pay. I am able to provide an itemized receipt for those with out of network benefits so that they can seek reimbursement from their insurance.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I am able to offer some sliding scale spaces for a reduced fee. Should these spaced be filled, you may request to be added to the waitlist for when a space opens up.
Do you offer in-person therapy?
I currently provide psychotherapy both in-person and via Telehealth. In-person psychotherapy is available at my office in Brattleboro, VT on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Teletherapy is offered on Mondays and Tuesdays. Due to licensing requirements, I am only able to offer Telehealth appointments to people located in the states of Vermont and Rhode Island.
